Resin is a material extracted from plants for the manufacture of various substances and is a strong chemical molecule. A polymer or prepolymer often used as a base material for plastics. Resins can be divided into natural resins and synthetic resins, which are widely used in all walks of life. In order to meet people's special needs, the surface of resin materials often needs to be engraved, engraved with pattern texture and other information. The equipment commonly used for engraving on the surface of resin materials includes UV laser marking machine and carbon dioxide laser marking machine.

Laser marking samples

The carbon dioxide laser marking machine mainly uses high-energy laser beam to irradiate the resin surface, and the resin material emits, absorbs, and transmits.

 Resin laser marking

We are mainly divided into the following three situations when marking common resin materials:

1. The surface of the material is coated.

When there is a coating on the surface of the resin material, laser marking produces a high-temperature peeling of the surface coating, forming a unique pattern under the background of the substrate, the most common being button marking.

2. There is no coating on the surface of the material, and the internal and external physical properties are consistent.

When encountering such materials, the high temperature generated by laser marking will directly vaporize the surface material, peel off a certain depth, and achieve the effect of peeling off the resin surface.

3. The surface of the material is discolored.

There are mainly 4 kinds of engraving effects, such as foaming type, engraving type, color engraving type, and color.
