Although we have high-quality after-sales service that can provide some basic guarantees, regular and comprehensive maintenance is the best way to really extend the service life of the laser cutting machine, thus truly achieving low investment and high returns. How to properly maintain the laser cutting machine?
1. Clean components
In order to ensure that the laser is always in normal working condition, please check the components in the optical path (such as the laser lens) before starting up after two weeks of continuous operation or when it is not used for a period of time. In order to ensure that the optical components are free of dust, mold and other abnormal phenomena, if there are the above abnormal phenomena, they should be cleaned in time to ensure that the optical components will not be damaged under strong laser irradiation. (If the operating environment of the equipment is relatively clean, the above inspection can be extended to one month or more). The detailed methods are as follows:
Replace the circulating water and clean the chiller.
It is worth noting that in a high temperature or relatively humid environment, the laser should always observe whether the cooling water circulating pipe or the laser concentration cavity is "condensed" due to low water temperature. The phenomenon of "condensation" will damage the end face of YAG crystal, resulting in the reduction of output power and even the failure of luminescence. If "condensation" occurs, stop using the laser cutter immediately. After the moisture on the surface of the condenser is naturally dry, please recheck the condition of the YAG optical surface to determine whether the YAG rod is clean. Before opening again, please check whether everything is normal. Before starting, please correctly adjust the lower limit set temperature of the high temperature controller.
Fan cleaning:
When the fan in the machine is used for a long time, a large amount of solid dust will accumulate in the fan, which will make the fan produce great noise and is not conducive to exhaust and deodorization. Dust will also reduce the insulation performance of electrical components and lead to electrical breakdown, which will increase the wear of the moving system, reduce the accuracy, and make the light output of the optical system weak or even unable to emit light. When the fan suction is insufficient, the fan needs to be cleaned. The surface of the equipment can be wiped with a cloth, and the interior of the equipment can be washed with a long brush and a high-pressure air gun.
Lens cleaning:
The protective mirror on the machine is easily stained with dust or other pollutants, which will affect the cutting accuracy and cause laser loss or lens damage. Generally, it is necessary to carefully wipe the protective lens with absolute alcohol within about a week (depending on the frequency of use of the laser cutting machine).
While cleaning:
1. The lens shall be lightly wiped and the surface coating shall not be damaged;
2. The wiping process shall be handled with care to prevent falling;
3. When installing the protective mirror, make sure that the concave side is downward;
Guide rail cleaning:
The guide rail and linear axis are one of the core components of the equipment. In order to ensure the high machining accuracy of the machine, the guide rail and linear axis are required to have high guidance accuracy and good motion stability. During the operation of the equipment, the processed parts will produce a large amount of corrosive dust and smoke, and these smoke and dust will be deposited on the surface of the guide rail and the linear shaft for a long time, resulting in many adverse effects on the processing accuracy of the equipment, and the formation of corrosion points on the surface of the linear shaft, thus shortening the service life of the equipment. The guide rail of the machine shall be cleaned every half a month. Before cleaning, the power supply of the machine shall be turned off.
Fastening and lubrication of screws and couplings
After the motion system works for a period of time, the screws and couplings at the motion joints will become loose, which will affect the stability of mechanical motion. During the operation of the machine, always observe whether the transmission parts have abnormal noise or abnormal phenomena, and regularly use tools to tighten the screws one by one. The first tightening shall be about one month after the equipment is used.
As the laser cutting machine is particularly sensitive to vibration, the working environment should be far away from the places where there are vibration sources (such as punch, heavy objects, etc.), and anti vibration pads can be installed to avoid impact on the environment. In addition to tightening the adjusting screws, it is also necessary to regularly lubricate some bearings of the laser cutting machine (except for oil immersed bearings). Please use a clean soft cloth to wipe the dirt on the bearing, use a needle tube to suck oil into the needle tube, then slowly inject the needle into the bearing, and then slowly rotate the bearing during oil injection.
How to maintain the laser cutting machine correctly?
Thermal insulation and heat dissipation
The temperature rise will reduce the insulation performance of the equipment and reduce the parameters of the components. It is generally stipulated that the working environment of the cutting machine should not exceed 40 ℃, which is most suitable for 20~25 ℃.
Check the optical path before work
The optical path system of the laser cutting machine is focused together by the reflector and lens or only by the lens. All mirrors and lenses are mechanically fixed, and there is a possibility of offset, which usually does not occur when not working. The vibration will produce slight deviation when moving, so it needs to be checked regularly. Maintenance method: The user should check the coaxial optical nozzle every day before going to work to determine whether the optical path is normal. The optical port is coaxial once a day, and the internal optical path is semi annual.
Precautions during daily maintenance
1. Regularly check and clean the dust suction device, and clean the fan duct, otherwise the dust will quickly contaminate the lens and laser tube, which is easy to oxidize the mechanical and electronic components and cause poor contact;
2. The power of the power grid needs to match the equipment itself;
3. The dust on the machine body, cutting head, sensor and other parts shall be removed in time to keep the appearance of the machine clean;
4. Combustibles (such as gloves and rags) in the machine shall be cleaned in time to prevent fire during cutting;
5. The iron slag on the hopper waste truck shall be cleaned in time to ensure that the chips can fall down smoothly;
6. Before carding the machine every day, carefully check whether the working gas pressure is normal.
7. The pressure reducing valve works normally to avoid insufficient air pressure affecting the quality of the cutting section;
8. Before use, please check the connection of each gas pipe of the cutting head to determine whether the cooling water leaks, so as to ensure the normal supply of gas and cooling water;
9. During commissioning, black metal with good absorption performance shall be placed on the laser output optical path as the beam terminator to prevent fire.
Only by correctly grasping these five tips can the laser cutting machine have a longer life, so as to truly achieve low cost and high return.
