Fiber laser cutting machine is a laser cutting machine using fiber laser generator as light source. The optical fiber laser cutting machine can be used for plane cutting and bevel cutting, and the edges are neat and smooth. It is suitable for high-precision cutting of metal plates. Fiber laser is a new type of fiber laser developed internationally, which outputs high energy density laser beam and gathers on the surface of the workpiece to instantly melt and vaporize the area on the workpiece illuminated by the fine focus light spot. Automatic cutting is realized by moving the light spot irradiation position through the numerical control mechanical system. The quality of fiber laser cutting machine is greatly affected by the selection of different cutting pressure according to the material of the cutting plate.

When the pressure of cutting gas is insufficient, the following impacts will be caused to the cutting quality: molten stains will be generated during cutting, and the cutting speed cannot meet the requirements, which will affect the production efficiency. When the cutting gas pressure is too high, the impact on the cutting quality: the cutting surface is rough, and the cutting seam is wide; At the same time, it will cause partial melting of the cutting section, which will not form a good cutting section.

Impact of cutting gas pressure on perforation: when the gas pressure is too low, the laser cannot easily penetrate the cutting plate, and the perforation time increases, resulting in low productivity. When the gas pressure is too high, the penetration point will melt, forming a larger melting point, thus affecting the cutting quality.

When laser drilling, generally higher gas pressure is used for thin plate drilling, while specific drilling method is used for thick plate drilling to eliminate the adverse factors of low air pressure on lens protection. When laser cutting machine is cutting ordinary carbon steel, the thicker the material is, the lower the cutting gas pressure is. When cutting stainless steel, the cutting gas pressure increases with the material thickness.

Then the reasons for the unstable air pressure are: after confirming the external and internal factors, we need to subdivide them. The external factors are insufficient air input of the air compressor, too low pressure adjustment of the air control valve of the laser cutting machine, oil contamination in the solenoid valve, and blocked air path. If the air pressure is too high, it may be because the air filter pressure reducing valve fails.

Therefore, we adopted the following methods for analysis and solution:

1. If the input air pressure has reached the requirements, check whether the adjustment of the air filter pressure reducing valve is correct; The gauge pressure display can meet the cutting requirements.

2. Before use, pay attention to the output pressure display of the air compressor. If it does not meet the requirements, adjust the pressure or repair the air compressor.

3. If the quality of the input air is poor, it will cause oil contamination in the pressure reducing valve, make it difficult to open the valve core, and the valve port cannot be fully opened.

4. The air pressure of the cutting torch nozzle is too low, and the pressure reducing valve needs to be replaced; The smaller section of the air circuit will also cause low air pressure, so the air pipe can be replaced according to the instructions.

5. If there is no problem with the above external air circuit, consider the internal factors of the laser cutting machine. First check whether the air pipe is damaged, knotted, and the connector leaks. If so, replace the pipe.

6. Next, check whether the solenoid valve, one-way valve and proportional valve in the laser cutting machine are damaged. If they are damaged, replace them in time to solve the problem.
